I have always felt like I’m in a race with time. The results of this are bouts of physical tension and anxiety. I have found that the only way to stop, these feelings, to stop the clock, is to accept that every minute is now.

This piece combines our physical world and our conceptual world of time. The clock, representing the concept of time, clearly marks that it is always now. The gazing ball reflects back on us the very real distortion that time plays in our physical world.
